The Titans Water Polo Association has received an Ontario Recreation Development Grant to assist in expanding our recreational water polo program by adding four community-based teams across the NEW Ottawa. Our goal is to increase access to water polo for boys and girls of all abilities in a positive, safe environment that values respect, fairness and tolerance. The grant will provide 50% of the set-up equipment costs for four satellite locations, which will operate on an ongoing, cost-recovery basis. Also included in the grant is 50% of the costs of coaching/officiating clinics in order to increase the number of well-trained volunteer coaches and officials to support the expanded recreational satellite program.
