The opening Game of the OWWPL took place tonight at Nepean Sportsplex between Titans (Shebites) and Titans (Robites).

The Titans cadets played very well in the first half and equalized the score 4-4 after a slow start but the Gee Gees size and experience were too much for them.

The Shebites were up 7-5 at halftime, but Rachel Baxter led the Ravens back in a 5-3 3rd quarter, tying the game going into the 4th. Both teams scored 4-goals in the final quarter, a last second goal on the power-play by Titans Lianna Fotia tied the game 14-All.

After tie-scores in their fisrt two games, Ravens Red finally gets into the win-column.

In this high-scoring game, the Titan Robites held a 10-9 lead going into the 4th quarter, including Rachel Powell's 3-goal effort. In the 4th however, the Ravens outscored the Titans 8-3; Kasia Hart leading the way with 3-lobbies from the left-side.

Gee-Gees A and Ravens Black played amazing games, Gee-Gees lead most of the game, but the Ravens crept back up in the last quarter, final score 7-7!

Each team scored 4-goals in the 3rd, but the Ravens took the 4th period 3-1 to seek out a tie.

Eight Red Ravens + three GG's took on the GG's A team tonite at uOttawa in game # 12 of the OWWPL.

Rachel Baxter proved to be unstopable, scoring 7-goals, as the Ravens Red defeated GG's A (10 - 8).

On Sunday Feb 12 the Shebites, with a mixed Bantam and Youth roster put up a strong showing for 3 quarters but couldn't stop the Gee Gees 4 goal outburst in the 4th quarter and gell 10-6 to the Gee Gees A.

13 year old Nathalie Gallant from the Titans Academy put on a strong performance in net for the Shebites in her first ever OWWPL appearance.

Jen Hampton led Ravens Black with 5-goals and although the Robites won the 4th period 3-2, their comeback fell short.
