IMPORTANT Meeting of Academy Parents and Players on Sunday, October 26

A reminder of the meeting of Academy parents and players on Sunday, October 26, 5:30-6:30pm in Hall F at Nepean Sportsplex. We will discuss training philosophies and goals/ objectives, as well as planned tournaments for the season.


Titans Merchandise

Many Titans members have been asking about the next opportunity to purchase bathing suits, balls, etc. The next merchandise sale will be Sunday, November 23, 5-7pm at Nepean Sportsplex. The jackets and pants should be in by then and available for pick-up as well.


Volunteers Needed for Sunday Evenings as Refs and Assistant Coaches

As part of their registration, all 16U and 18U athletes and their families have committed to volunteer in our house league programs. We now need you to sign up, if you haven't already done so!

Volunteers are still needed for Sunday ILWP/ Academy games, particularly as refs for the 6:30-8:30pm timeslot. Many of our older athletes attended a referee clinic over the past couple of weeks, so you should have some skills now to be able to do this. As well, we could use some older athletes or parent volunteers to be assistant coaches (in charge of athlete substitutions and positive reinforcement) to help out the regular coaches. Parents or athletes are also needed to run the clocks.

Please check the current list of volunteers for House League sessions on the Titans website under "Athletes Resources" or you can click on Schedule to see it, then contact Blake Christie at bchristie@greely.com  regarding dates you would like to volunteer.


Volunteer Minor Officials Needed for OUA Games at Carleton this Weekend

Steve Baird is looking for some reliable and experienced Minor Officials to be goal-judges, game secretary, shot-clock and game-clock specialists for 12 Ontario Universities Association (OUA) games this weekend at Carleton.  He would very much appreciate if some Titan players can help out this weekend.  He has started rumors that there will be some donuts and maybe even some pizza around for minor official volunteers!  Steve will have a sign-up sheet at both the Wednesday and Thursday evening practices this week at Carleton, so any Titan player available to help can sign-up.
